Richard Preciado is the Firm's Managing Partner. During his career, Richard Preciado has developed an expertise in accounting, auditing, business consulting and taxation of agribusinesses, such as field & vegetable crop farming,
greenhouses and nurseries, animal production, cattle ranching & feedlots, dairies and support activities for crop and animal production. He has helped develop the firm’s niches in various areas in agribusiness and cost segregation services.
Mr. Preciado joined Hutchinson and Bloodgood LLP in 1993 and became a Partner in 2000. He was named Managing Partner in October 2006. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Preciado worked with a regional public accounting firm that specialized in agricultural related clients.
A lifetime resident of El Centro, Preciado is an active member of the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as a past president of the Kiwanis Club of El Centro. Preciado is also a past chairman of the City of El Centro's Planning Commission and the past president of the El Centro Education Foundation. Furthermore, Preciado is a lifetime member of the Golden Key National Honor Society.
Preciado is a graduate of San Diego State University. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. He has been certified since 1993.
