What personal data we collect and why we collect it

H&B is only interested in data that helps us deliver valued products and services to you.  Data collected is used to perform attest, compliance, IT, bookkeeping, valuation, cost-segregation, and other services for you, including, if requested, proactive communications such as newsletters.  This information may include personally identifiable information (PII) such as: name, physical address, date-of-birth, phone numbers, taxpayer ID numbers, marital status, financial data, IP address, and site usage data. 

Site Usage Data is information on your use of the website, such as pages visited, links clicked, non-sensitive text entered, and mouse movements, as well as information more commonly collected such as the referring URL, browser, operating system, and Internet Protocol (“IP”) address. We use publicly available sources to approximate your geographic region and Internet Service Provider based on your IP address.  H&B’s purpose in collecting Usage Data is to better understand how our visitors use the website.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have used a service provided by H&B, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.
